A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

I already posted today... but I had to make a post about my best friend's birthday today!!!! She's 23!!!!! YAYAYAYAY! Congratulations Joanne... you made it!!!!

I've known Joanne for a good 11-12 years. We met right before Junior High and turns out... she didn't like me. My old friend called Joanne's cousin a B word and Joanne thought it was me... and what happens? THE GIRL PUSHED ME!!!!!!!!!!!!  I ran home. I thought, good thing I will never see her again! Little do I know, I go to school a month later and she is in my 6th grade class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't think we talked, but as I was walking home I saw her and asked where she lived... and she said RIGHT IN FRONT OF WHERE I PUSHED YOU!!!!! hahahahhaha JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she didn't say that. She said she lived on the next block, and I don't really remember how it happened.. but we became best friends... Wherever I was, she was there.. and wherever she was... I was there. I'm surprised we weren't attached at the hip.

We walked to school together everyday... and little did our mothers know, but our breakfast was a .50 sugar drink, and a .50 bar of candy... now that I look back on it, not a bad buy for a buck. We were ALWAYS late for school.. one time, Joanne didn't wait for me.. and when I walked into class everyone clapped... I said "whats going on?" and they said "YOU HAVE THE MOST LATENESS'S... JOANNE IS 2nd place." The way I see it, We would have been tied if she had just waited. Oh well, atleast I'm 1st place in something. haha!

I can believe how much we've gone through together:

• Our first loves
• Good times and bad
• Breakup's
• Laughter
• Water fights we had in the house
• Our first beer together
• Water fights we had in the snow!!!!!!
• Walking to the store in just pajams in the snow!
• Shoveling snow in shorts and tank tops!
• Behaving VERY badly in class
• Sticking with each other through thick and thin
• Having a FISH HEAD almost fall on our head while walking to school!

I love you Joanne and You have no idea how much this friendship means to me.. I know that we don't see each other all the time, but I think of you often and how much you've made me laugh over the past 11 years. I love you and I hope that you have the best birthday ever, because you deserve it!

Thanks for still being my friend after all these years, even though I blew out your Sweet 16th birthday candles.

Super Fantastic Things

So, Jessy(my boyfriend) and I recently became apart of the Chocolate Lemon Team... [A network made by gamers for gamers (can't believe that I just said something that cheesy. haha)] and I'm doing COS-PLAY make-up for them! WOO HOO!

I will still be uploading on my youtube channel, as well as theirs... or something along those lines; And I will also be TV personality (show host)... oooooo...ahhhhh. Jessy is handling pod-cast's as well as being the designer for their shirts and merchandise....
Anyway... Which brings me to my point of:

REALLY SUPER AWESOME THINGS FOR ME TO DO, FOR YOUR EYES TO SEE list:

1. I am going to PAX EAST in March!!!!!! YES! (for those of you who do not know, It is a GIANT gamer convention... I'll be interviewing cos-play artist, developers [If I'm lucky] and probably just some random people.) from March 11-13 in Boston, MA

2. My mommy's Birthday is on March 24th... She passed away in 2006, and she would have been 54 this year... I'll probably go visit her grave and give her a GI-NOR-MUS bouquet of flowers.

3. My cousins 25th birthday is on March 27th.. The big one, he's gonna be a quarter of a century old. haha!

4. Mine and Jessy's 3 year anniversary is on March 28th! This is my LONGEST relationship ever... I've had a 3 year relationship before, but it was on and off... so it doesn't really count. I'm so excited!!!!!!!!! I can't believe how fast 3 years went by!

5. IMATS is April 9-10 in NY!!!!!!!!!!!   Do I really need to say more?

I am super duper excited for all these excited upcoming events!!!! WOOHOO!!!!

Dancing my heart out.

Ever since I was little I've always danced. Whether it was dancing to my mom's taste in music that I've heard her playing on a Saturday, The ever so popular music in the 90s, the early stages of the "new millennium" music, the more recent music, or just marching to the beat of my own drum... I can always remember me dancing. Not very well mind you, but dancing none the less.

I feel like it's one of the best ways to express yourself, get over a bad break up, give yourself energy, or just make you or someone else feel better when their sad. Music is such a great form of expression as well; What else really knows what you're feeling at that exact moment then a love song, or "going out with my friends tonight to have fun" kind of songs? Oh Sinead O' Conner has known how broken my heart has been, just like the black eyed peas "had a feeling" that I was gonna have a good night.

I've always been the one to march to the beat of my own drum, not caring what people think... just like my mother always use to say: "as long as you're not hurting anyone, why does it matter!?" In JR. high school, and high school... people didn't always understand... I always got... "You're always happy, it's not normal!!!!!" "are you high? are you on drugs?" "calm down... you shouldn't be so happy" But I've still always remained to be myself, and now... that's what I get the most compliments on. A lot of the times, most people are afraid to be themselves... but I say be yourself, you are unique in every way!!!!!!!!

I hope that any troubles you have can easily be washed away by dancing the night away... and if you have to, why not try dancing in the rain?

An Audition

Oh my Gosh! I am so excited!

I've been wanting to join a beauty collab on youtube,  (a page where a certain number of girls -usually 7, one for everyday of the week- are all on 1 channel and all upload the same topic video.) and really didn't know how... until I saw someone audition for SevenGorgeousLadies and made me think of auditioning. I mean, Why not me!? So far... There have been 21 auditions including mine. The audition might end today, as they don't have an exact closing date up yet. But I hope it does close today so I better my chances of getting a part... hahah!!!!! they are looking for 5 more girls... so my chance : 1 VS. 20. Let's see what happens....

Slacker

Okay. So I've been slacking with my blog. My last and only post was in November, even though I promised myself I would do this constantly. Well, no more.... I am going to keep up with this as well as my youtube videos.

What I've been doing:

December - 

Nothing. Christmas came and went, and yet I just seemed to work and let it pass me by... I did however, order a brush set from CROWN BRUSHES on the 31st, which I received a lovely discount from Kandee Johnson herself. Well, she didn't give me the discount personally which would have been nice.
(haha) She gave it to her followers.

January - 

Still waiting for my brushes!!!!!! Since Kandee gave out the discount code, the company was so overwhelmed with over 10,000+ orders!!!! Can you imagine!? I'm super excited though because I received an e-mail from them on Thursday saying my brushes will arrive in about 1-3 business days. and since they don't ship on weekends, I'm expecting them tomorrow or Wednesday.



Once I receive them I'm planning on doing a review for them! So I hope you're looking forward to that!

Kirsten Dunst Lula Inspired- Day time look

HI EVERYBODY!!!!!
 
So today I was browsing for makeup ideas and inspirations, and I came across Kirsten Dunst's photo shoot in the Lula magazine and thought she looked so beautiful! She obviously had on makeup, but it looked as though she didn't!

Isn't she just beautiful!? I LOVE this look! So Like I said, I recreated it... 

FACE:

First: I primed and prepped my face with ILLAMASQUA rich liquid foundation, in color RF210 then highlighted and contoured and sealed it nicely with a powder. 

EYES:

Next: I used TRISH McEVORY simply nude pocket size beauty touch up kit... and used the peachy nude color all over the eye, including the bottom lash line. I then went in with virgin from the URBAN DECAY naked palette... and just went over the highlight areas, followed by the same brown found in the TRISH McEVORY kit, and went into the crease for a bit of dimension...

After that: I lined the very edge of my lid with a brown pencil eye liner, followed by curled lashes and mascara.

Lips:
for the lips I used ULTA lip liner duo, in the color Flesh, and went over that using TCW's lip palette in a nude color. 

Blush:

Both products I used were from TCW.. and the bronzer I applied in the hallows of my cheeks... and then I applied a light pink blush of the apples of my cheeks... added some highlight and WALLAH!  neutral.. you could follow these instructions.. or just watch the tutorial.. hahaha
